Supriya lives in Austin, TX and paints exclusively in watercolor. Not only does she love the unpredictability of the water-based medium, but she wants to prove wrong the underdog label given to it by the art world. Her work is confident, with a highly-stylized vibe that is influenced by her graphic design background. Some recurring themes seen in her paintings are the Texas landscape, iconic landmarks of Austin, people, and anything that reflects her Indian heritage. She is also a self-published author and a martial artist.
