Jewel’s Domain

Private collection (commissioned)

The client wanted a big and bold, abstract depiction of the natural world. After that, she left the rest to my artistic vision.

I like to incorporate personal elements into commissioned pieces, so the painting becomes more meaningful to the client. Here, I showed her backyard with its variety of plants and wildflowers, and her sweet dog Jewel, who trots around as a proud princess, looking over her domain.

This is an extra large-scale watercolor painting.

Painting size: 34” x 54” (framed to 40” x 60”)
