The client wanted a big and bold abstract depiction of the natural world. Beyond that, she left it to my artistic vision. My inspiration was her backyard with its variety of plants and wildflowers, and her sweet dog Jewel, who trots around as a proud princess, looking over her domain. This is a large-scale watercolor painting.
